HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM!
Houston has no housing for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
These disabilities can range from mental illness, HIV/AIDS, Autism, Asperger syndrome, Cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and blindness. We are proposing to the City of Houston a state-of-the-art, long-term age-in-place residence.
This housing will allow individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities the opportunity to live as independently as possible in the community.
Our facility will offer 24/7 staff support and programming to ensure overall wellness and quality of life measures are met.
